Following the year end, entities associated with TPG Global, LLC obtained a greater than 70% controlling interest in Kinetic TCo Pty Ltd via newly incorporated holding entities, with Foresight Group, on behalf of its managed funds, retaining a less than 30% minority interest in Kinetic. The transaction was completed on 22 May 2026 following the receipt of customary regulatory approvals and change of control consents.
Following completion of the transaction, Kinetic transferred its 51% interest in Topco to an indirect holding company of Kinetic with TPG, therefore holding a greater than 35% indirect interest in the Group. There has been no change to the Go-Ahead Group’s business strategy, management team, or to day-to-day operations. There continues to be no ultimate controlling party following the transaction.
